WSU's policy permits students who are not formally admitted (or non-matriculant students) to explore various fields of interest prior to formal admission to the university.
Generally, students are guided by the Non-Matriculant Student Advisor, who monitors matters such as: admission requirements, course pre- and co-requisites, course selections, and course sequences. Near the completion of 30 undergraduate credit hours or 9 graduate credit hours, students are advised to review their educational goals.
